At the time of providing this information today 16th March 2020, we have made the decision to do our bit in regards to the Coronavirus currently circulating. Cotswold Web Design is in a good position to work remotely due to the ‘tech environment’ that we work with, all of our online services will remain unaffected; with us you are in safe hands.
As you can imagine our online support has significantly increased recently due to businesses switching their primary focus to their online presence. We made the difficult but necessary decision to switch all contact to mail support during this period, this was for a number of reasons; it helps us to log requests correctly and react in order of receipt, this will ultimately help us to (as always) aim to provide a better service to all of our clients.
Our services remain unaffected
Clients on our 365 monthly maintenance contracts will be assured that we will deliver the same unaffected online services during the outbreak. Our entire service packages have been run from the cloud since inception, we simply continue to use all of the tools and platforms required for us to continue operating as usual.
We track the news very carefully, we follow advice from the relevant government health bodies and fully accept that working days might not follow normal office hours. We will continue to work around the Coronavirus situation and aim to limit any impact to our business and client projects.
Putting people first
For obvious reasons, all future meetings have been postponed. The health and well-being of our clients and the people around us is the most important thing. We won’t compromise on this, under any circumstances. For new clients, as always we are able to kickoff all new projects entirely as normal using our cloud based structures and formats, there has never been a better time to build on your online presence.
What you can do
The impact on your business may be significant, you are probably already working on a strategy to get you through this, and we will get through this. Coming out the other side however does depend on your preparation, during quieter times:-
- Work on a blog article
- Update your website content
- Carry out essential housekeeping, maybe some online training
- Engage with your customers through social media, current and prospective alike
- Help out someone in need
- Come back from this stronger
Based on the above, it should hopefully be clear that we are forecasting for limited impact to our client projects and for our business to continue to operate as normal (we hope you are too).
Let’s all beat this together.
